Please help -- I upgraded my xv6900 to WM 6.1 using leaked ROM.  I am now getting the dreaded ActiveSync error that doesn't allow sync'ing with 2 PC's.  I now need to downgrade back to the original Windows Mobile ver. 6.0.  Can anyone help please.

Thanks.

I have a microSD slot.  How do I flash from it?  Where do I get the original Windows Mobile 6.0 installation?

Thanks

i dont know where the wm6.0 vzw rom is but to flash any rom u have to find the .nbh file, format your micro SD card to fat 32, then place the .nbh file on the root of the memory stick named "VOGUIMG" and put it in boot loader by pressing the power, camera, and reset it with the sylis "MAKE SURE U USE 2.31 UNLOCKER FIRST BEFORE FLASHING ROMS

DO NOT DO THIS. The original VZW 6.0 XV6900 needs a 1.xx radio (non-gps) which is not compatible with the 2.xx series bootloader you have after flashing the leaked 3.14 vzw. You should have bootloader 2.07 from flashing the leaked rom (check by pressing power+camera+stylus tip in soft reset hole). The 2xx bootloader require a 3xx series radio which is evdo rev A and gps enabled. These roms and radios are not interchangable. The problem is there is no download available 1xx vzw radio (nemanracing dump is os only no radio)  for a 6900 (sprint radio on a VZW stock rom will void your warranty faster than sprint is losing customers) and you run a risk of permanently damaging your device by downgrading off of a gps radio/rom combo to a non gps pair. I would suggest using the imcokeman's 2.31 vogue unlocker and flashing an existing 3xx gps series custom rom that looks appealing to you or building a custom 3xx rom to your own taste.  If you screw up downgrading you will have voided your warranty.

true thanks for pointing that out. I am my own tech service. I have no insurance or warranty as I supplied my own equipment.

Same here. My customers sometimes ask about my 6900 as I have a black sprint one I converted to VZW and replaced the digitizer with a HTC badged one to debrand the sprint logo. The sharp ones realize its a 6900 and remark how girly the white color is of the xv6900. I usually show them the M2D homescreen and tell them its an prototype model I'm testing and smile. You can't beat the deals on ebay on brand new in box bad esn sprint HTC's especially after what happened to the pro and second rate colors on VZW.

Thank you very much for the words of wisdom.  The problem I'm having with WM 6.1 is that it's not sync'ing with 2 PC's -- apparently there is a bug in WM 6.1 and no solution as of yet.  I absolutely HAVE to have synchronization with 2 PC's, so now I am screwed unless I can figure out how to downgrade back to WM 6.0.  Any other advice??

Thank you everybody for your comments!

I've never had a problem with 6.1. Try deleting the sync partnerships pc side in active sync/WMDC and on your phone's active sync program. Then try to resync.  Registry for partnership on phone is HKCU/software/microsoft/activesync/partnership. Setup guide here http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/raj/MultiplePartnership.html

I get the dreaded error 86000107 when sync'ing with 2 PC's.  I tried deleting partnerships and it cures the problem for a day or two but it always comes back
